Creative Textiles - Experimenting with Stitch
Course
This course is suitable for beginners and those with more experience in the subject, with an interest in exploring creative hand stitch techniques.
You will learn:
A variety of traditional and contemporary hand stitch textile techniques.
How to produce an individual project for example, a personal sample book, embellish cushions or design wall, hangings and pictures.
Safe practice in this subject area and lots of tips and advice.
What will I need to provide?
You will need a medium sized embroidery ring, plain cotton or calico fabric, sewing equipment and thread, a notebook and pen. Basic course materials are available at the centre for the first session if required.
