In this introduction course:

• We talk through you through what a memoir is and isn’t.
• We explore how you can uncover material from your life to write about and we’ll arm you with tools to allow you to start documenting your life, so you never miss out on another story.
• Each week there will be a short homework task, helping you build momentum.

By the end of the course:

• You’ll have a clear idea on your memoir idea and theme, ensuring it’s engaging and full of passion.
• You’ll have started over four mini stories/ memory snippets that you can start to expand.
• You’ll have a clear understanding of the mindset and writing routine needed to get your memoir out of your head and onto the page.

Whether you’re hoping to get your memoir published or pass on to family as part of your legacy or if you’re writing just for fun – this course will help you feel motivated and excited to start writing.

• We will provide feedback on up to 800 words of your work. Helping you see your writing strengths and giving you ideas to help take your work further.
