Sally Barker

Music
The voice that made Sir Tom Jones cry...

Millions of viewers tuned in to see Sally's flawless performances on the BBC TV programme the Voice. This included a duet with Sir Tom Jones who consistently, sometimes tearfully, championed Sally telling her “It was just so beautiful that I couldn’t help myself. You swept me off my feet”.

Sally is no newcomer to the music scene; she has recorded 6 acclaimed solo albums, with songwriting influences from folk, country, soul and blues, and is well respected for her work with all-female folk supergroup The Poozies. Sally's years of touring have also included supporting the likes of Bob Dylan and Robert Plant, and very recently supporting Fairport Convention on their 50th Anniversay Tour.

Since her appearance on the Voice, Sally's back catalogue has seen a resurgence of sales. Sally's album 'Another Train' featured in the official indie charts and ebayers were asking in excess of £100 for 2nd hand Barker CDs! In 2015 Jerry Donahue invited Sally to join the re-forming Fotheringay to sing the songs left to us by the brilliant Sandy Denny.

Sally is joined by singer/guitarist Dan Britton (Jackie Leven, Cathy LeSurf) and multi-instrumentalist wizard, Chris Conway.

"Sally changes the atmosphere in a room when she sings" BBC Radio 2's Chris Evans

"I have to say you sound amazing" Will.i.am
