Village Folk presents Kelly Oliver

Concert Live Music
Kelly released her debut album 'This Land' in 2014, where it received 4* reviews from R2 Magazine and The Telegraph Music and was included in The Telegraph’s 68 Best Folk Albums of 2014. It also earned a nomination for FATEA Magazine’s Best Debut Album of 2014.

Festival credentials include performing twice at Cambridge Folk Festival for Hitchin Folk Club, and has supported such acts as Cara Dillon, Blair Dunlop, The Young’uns and Chris and Kellie While, among many others.
Kelly also headlined her own sold out show at Downend Folk Club in Bristol and spent January 2015 playing various gigs and making live BBC Radio appearances around the country; recording an Ont Sofa session in London and ending the month with her first live TV appearance, performing and being interviewed on London Live.

Recently, Kelly was thrilled to record for the Whispering Bob Harris Broadcasting Company and be interviewed by Bob himself for his “Under The Apple Tree Sessons”. In 2015, success looks set to continue as Kelly has a range of headline shows and support slots in the pipeline.

Work has already begun on her next album, and the release of her new single 'Jericho' in May of this year, has received excellent reviews, including write ups from The Telegraph and airplay on numerous BBC stations, including Bob Harris' Sunday show on BBC Radio 2 and Chris Hawkins' BBC 6 Music.
