Cheryl Harper Wilson's Buxton based business - Riviera Couture Cake Company & it's creations have been the centrepiece for photo - shoots, glossy magazine's, calendar's, corporate event's weddings, christening's & birthday celebrations.

Cheryl's work has featured alongside top chef's including the Hairy Bikers, Paul Hollywood, Marcus Wareing, Mary Berry, Louisa Zissman off TV's Apprentice, Zoe Clark & more.
Cheryl takes a deep interest in the science as well as the art of baking & her expertise as a patisserie professional, recipe writer, food blogger, sugar artist & chocolatier has brought regular writing commissions from various baking magazine's.

'Riviera's interest in style inspired the Riviera in the company's name, & the tailor made & authentic creations reflecting culinary history, haute cuisine & contemporary gourmet style.

Riviera Couture's creative process is part of the experience for the customer. Cheryl takes clients through every stage of a commission. This can include inspiration boards, drawings, sketches, colour schemes & consultation/cake tastings. And, as the end product is too tasty to survive, there is the option of having a professional photographer on hand to ensure there is a keepsake.

Pick & Mix! Due to Riviera's focus on using only the finest, freshest & locally sourced ingredient's, Riviera have, by popular demand, created a new & exciting cupcake, brownie range & a pop up pick & mix brownie bar! cheryl has been working hard on her - cake character creation's for her family run business - Riviera's children's cupcake range. The range includes fabulous & clever cake characters, which each represent a delicious cupcake flavour. In turn, each character holds a fun & imaginative personality, & easy to relate to personal profile..something for all. Willy Wonka, funtastic springs to mind!

Alongside her own professional services, Cheryl hosts children's cake decorating classes to teach the art. The children enjoy a scrumdiddlyumptious, creative, fun & imaginative weekly hour of fun, discovering their own creative potential with delicious ingredients, edible paint & sugar modelling.
