INTRODUCTION: WORKING WITH CLAY

This new and exciting pottery course is designed to introduce you to a broad range of pottery techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab work. The course is suitable for both beginners and those looking to improve their skills.

ADVANCED CERAMIC TECHNIQUES

£185, 7 weeks

This advanced course is designed for those looking to extend their existing pottery skills and techniques. You’ll study in our well-equipped studio and use potter’s wheels, and glazing and kiln rooms to create pieces of art.

11.01.18 (Thursday Afternoons, 1pm – 4pm)

09.04.18 (Monday Evenings, 6pm – 9pm)

During the final week of both the introduction and advanced course you’ll have the opportunity to exhibit your work in a professional gallery.

INTRODUCTION TO PRINT: COLLOGRAPH AND LINO

£135, 5 weeks

Our introductory course is designed to provide you with the skills you’ll need to produce your own prints. This course is ideal for beginners who want to learn new intaglio and stencil techniques.

INTERMEDIATE PRINTMAKING: LINO, COLLOGRAPH AND MONO

This intermediate course allows those with experience in printmaking the opportunity to focus on developing their specialist techniques. During the course you’ll also work closely with our experienced tutors to learn new lino, collography and mono skills.

SILVERSMITHING AND JEWELLERY MAKING

£205, 10 weeks

During this course you’ll learn the traditional craft of silversmithing to create wonderful pieces of art and wearable pieces of jewellery. The sessions are suitable for all abilities as one-to-one guidance will be provided throughout.

At college we have some of the best art facilities in the area; you’ll learn in our specialist workshops, covering units such as silversmithing materials, jewellery techniques and silversmithing processes.
