Allestree Theatre Group presents Sue Townsend's comedy Bazaar and Rummage

Three agoraphobic women have left their houses for the first time in years to go to a jumble sale organised by their social workers. But as the afternoon progresses, the distinction between the social workers and the women becomes less and less clear.  This play is the story of 5 women bound together by their fears and seeking a solution to make their lives better.

The play is directed by Geoff Patenall who feels the play is as relevant today as when it was written in the 80s.  Updated to the current time the play is funny and heartwarming as well as a look at how the power of friendship can help you recover from events that change your life forever
