Auditions for actresses to play Florence Nightingale
FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE On 12th May, the world will celebrate Florence's 200th birthday.
'Kissing Miss Nightingale's Shadow' is a new one woman play, with original music, celebrating one of the most influential and famous women in history. 'Kissing Miss Nightingale's Shadow' is part of a 12 month project under the heading of 'Florence Nightingale 200'. During the coming year 'Kissing Miss Nightingale's Shadow' will be performed nationwide. We are auditioning for actresses to play Florence Nightingale.
The play is one act, lasting for approx 60 minutes. At the time we see Florence she is 37 years old and has returned from the Crimean War. However, any age may apply. Rehearsals can be arranged to accommodate successful applicants. A singing voice in the style of music hall would be useful but not essential. This is paid work (per performance). Performances to begin from June 2020. The auditions are for us to cast more than one Florence Nightingale.
