The Buxton Spa Prize 2018 Key Dates

The snow has finally gone and spring is in the air. The weather is giving us a hint of things to come and the town is beginning to bloom.

The Buxton Spa Prize Team have been busy preparing for this year's competition and we are now open for entries. We invite you to visit our website for more information and entry forms by clicking here.

Alternatively, you can enter in person during the registration period which this year takes place from Friday 4th May to Sunday 13th May. We look forward to this week as it is always a pleasure to see familiar faces and to welcome new entrants. Registration and stamping takes place at No.6 Tea Room, The Square, Buxton. SK17 6AZ between 10am and 2pm.

If you are looking for a day out over the bank holiday weekend, why not come along to see us on Monday 7th May? On this day, Buxton holds its annual Spring Fair and the town comes alive with a huge variety of activities, stalls, food, drink and music. Do be aware that if you choose to visit us on this day, you may not be able to park in the centre of town.

The Artist's Social this year takes place on Saturday 12th May at 2.30pm, also at No.6 Tea Rooms. This is an opportunity to meet and chat with other artists and the team. Sponsors, Bill & Sheila Barratt will present Keiran Ingram, winner of The Buxton Spa Prize People's Choice 2017 with his award for 'Lightwood, Dark Water', at this event.
