Easton Andrea, who owns House of Darwin, in Shelton Lock, says that the decision has been made as the pub looks to boost revenue following a difficult year for the hospitality industry.
Earlier this week, the government announced that pubs and restaurants must shut by 10pm every day after an increase in coronavirus cases in England. Venues that are licensed to sell alcohol – like House of Darwin – are restricted by law to table service only.

The new NHS Covid-19 app requires pubs, restaurants, hairdressers and other venues to display a poster with a QR code so that customers can check in.
Customers checking in on entry with their phone will support the NHS Test and Trace scheme.
