Self-Publishing for Beginners - With Dawn Brookes

‘ReConnect’ wants to take the gallery visitors on a visual journey into all the changes, trials and tribulations that the artists experienced during the pandemic, and how they chose to pursue and display these experiences.

Beam are delighted to be able to share with you the news that five new statues have been added to the ‘Walking Together’ mining memorial by Artist Stephen Broadbent at Derbyshire County Council’s Markham Vale Business Park.

The new statues take the total of life-sized steel figures at the site to 93, and Beam are continuing to work alongside partners to fundraise to see the target of all 106 figures installed.

The most recent additions are sited at the Markham Vale Environment Centre and are dedicated to:

Even I can't quite believe we've done so many. But hasn't it been lovely to get out and about again, after the year we've just had?

People have flocked to the streets of Derby this summer to enjoy the fabulous Derby Ram Trail, which has been a Ramtastic success. Now, there is a chance to give one of the rams a forever home at the Ram Trail Auction, which takes place on 9 September and will be hosted by renowned auctioneer Charles Hanson.
