Arts and wellbeing organisation 'All Being Well' is seeking initial expressions of interest from artists who would value a period of time in the Orangery to create and/or exhibit work.

Now in its eleventh year, the Awards recognise and celebrate the city's vibrant and growing food and drink sector.

Managing Director of Marketing Derby, John Forkin says: "Food and drink is an important sector but a tough one too. We want to celebrate the best locally and promote customer growth, so I encourage everyone to vote to give support to their favourites."

Marketing Derby's latest film has been launched to showcase the purpose of the organisation, the breadth and depth of its activities to date and the impact the company has had creating 1,354 jobs and contributing £333.09m in GVA in the last three years.

Produced by Bondholder Purpose Media, the film will be used by the investment promotion agency for Derby and Derbyshire with investors, Bondholders and key stakeholders.

Walking Together, the Markham Vale Mining Memorial, will be included as part of the Art Hike 42: Bolsover Circular – ‘sculptured landscapes & public artworks’ walk on 27 July (10-3.30); details here:

We know that parks are places of enjoyment, a space for kids to play, for runners to exercise and for people to escape the hustle bustle of city life, but how much do you really know about your local park?  How do you find out about a park’s history and ecology?  How do you discover the walking trails and find out what events are happening, and when?
