Chesterfield Co-operative Choral Society present Handel's Messiah in November

A Chesterfield choir celebrate their 80th anniversary with a special performance in the town with professional soloists and orchestra.

Chesterfield Co-operative Choral Society will conclude a year of musical celebration with Handel’s Messiah, one of the great cornerstones of the choral repertoire.

Choir Chair Victoria Clarke said, “It’s an honour to be part of this choir in this anniversary year and to be building on their recent successes with such a dedicated group of people. We are all really looking forward to performing this wonderful music with so many talented musicians”.

The choir will be performing Handel’s Messiah with both local professional musicians and musicians from Birmingham Conservatoire and London College under the direction of their Musical Director, Adam Green, on Saturday 25th November at 7.15pm at Saint Thomas’ Church, Brampton.
