Darley Abbey Day returns in 2015 for its fifth biennial

The village of Darley Abbey, on the northern outskirts of Derby, is busy making plans for its fifth biennial Darley Abbey Day, which will be held on 13th June.  The day starts with the opening ceremony at 11 o’clock, continues at various locations throughout the village and culminates in a Barbecue with Entertainment in the Village Hall in the evening.

Darley Abbey Day showcases our beautiful village and the various organisations and businesses in it, providing a fun day for all ages and raises money for local charities.

There are lots of activities throughout the day, to suit all ages and interests or levels of exercise! See highlights attached.

All are most welcome to come and join in the fun. Be prepared to be amazed by what one relatively small village can achieve when its various organisations work together.

For further information please visit our website at darleyabbey.com  and for any enquiries email us at the darleyabbeyday@gmail.com.

Programmes, tremendous value at £1 (remember it all goes to charity) will be available from 17th May from: Darley Abbey Stores, The Cafe in the Park and Friargate Framing.
