'Dronfield's Forgotten Heroes' Exhibition - Online Now!

We're pleased to announce that the latest digital exhibition is now available to view on our new standalone website.

In recent months, we have been working with Mark Bracken from Bracken Media to upload content from some of our previous exhibitions onto a new website. The latest of these is our WW1 exhibition which we first held at the Barn in 2019. If you didn't get chance to come and view it at the Barn at the time, or would simply like to see it again, this is the chance to do so!

About the exhibition:

Harry Dobbs writes home under fire, whilst Doris keeps her journal of everyday life in wartime England. For Harold Edees it's all a matter of conscience. Delve into the lives of Dronfield's forgotten heroes as we take a look at the great war from our home town. You can even check our WW1 survivor's database to see what part your family may have played.

Don't forget!

If you enjoy revisiting this exhibition, you can still purchase the publication that was produced as part of this from our website for just £5. The publication provides fascinating detail and insight into how life in Dronfield was during WW1.
