Join our Dry Stone Walling courses!

Have you ever wanted to have a go at the art of Dry Stone Walling?
Here's an amazing opportunity to learn the techniques and help restore a wall in the Peak District Nation Park.
By popular demand we have two NEW courses  running
17th / 18th May and 21st / 22nd June 2018.
Open to all (not suitable for children), it's fun and rewarding!

£25 Non Members and £20 Members for each 1 1/2 day course.
LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE

Course 1: 17th and 18th May 2018. Day 1. 9am -12pm at Dronfield Hall Barn and Day 2. 10am to 3pm in the Peak District National Park at Ridgeway Side near Hathersage. 

Course 2: 21st and 22nd June 2018. Day 1. 9am - 12pm at Dronfield Hall Barn and Day 2. 10am to 3pm in the Peak District National Park at Rideway Side near Hathersage

Learn the techniques, how to make walls that stand without mortar, the history of the walling at the Barn then, get hands on making a difference helping restore one of the dry stone walls in the beautiful Peak District National Park!

These courses represent excellent value for money and are a fantastic opportunity to experience Dry Stone Walling!


For each course:
Day 1 is hosted at Dronfield Hall Barn by our resident waller Mike Baker where you learn about the techniques and tools in a classroom environment, tea and coffee is provided.

Day 2 is on location with Peak District National Park Area Ranger Tom Lewis and Mike Baker. For Day 2 participants will need to bring refreshments.
