Try John Sutcliffe's Art Workshops!


If you're looking for a new challenge this year, or just want to brush up on your art skills, then be sure to join our Artist in Residence, John Sutcliffe, for a new year of art workshops.

Join us for a three hour workshop to engage those wanting to develop an artistic side. Come for an afternoon, learning a variety of new skills or to develop those you may already have. John is a highly experienced teacher and artist who will guide you through different methods of art making, helping you follow your interests.

The workshops are suitable for anyone with an interest in making art, no matter what your experience. Developing and building skills at your own pace in a wide variety of materials.

CLASS DATES (All 1:30pm-4:30pm):
February: 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
March: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
April: 16th, 23rd, 30th
May: 7th, 14th, 21st
June: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th

Stained Glass Taster Workshop
Saturday 22nd February, 9:30am-1:30pm
£20 (£18 for Friends)

Fancy having a go at making a striking stained glass hanger? Come along to our taster workshop in the Edward Lucas Hall on Saturday 22nd February
from 9:30am-1:30pm.

No previous experience is needed and all materials will be supplied to enable you to complete your piece during the workshop. This session will include glass cutting as well as how to assemble and finish your piece.

Join us for £20 per person (£18 for Friends of the Barn). We regret that due to the use of soldering irons we are imposing a minimum age of 16 years.
