Made In Derby Stars to be unveiled

Ten new 'Made in Derby' plaques celebrating the achievements of some of the people who have helped put Derby and Derbyshire on the world map will be unveiled in the city's Market Place and on Iron Gate on Saturday 14th September.

This is phase 2 of 'Made in Derby' - a trail of mosaic and cast iron plaques which can be brought to life via augmented reality using a smartphone app - with a Walk of Fame already embedded on Albion Street and Exchange Street.

Karam Singh, Derby's world-leading breakdancer from local Trinity Warriors dance crew, is the first star to be announced. The launch will take place at 11.30am in the Market Place with the names of all of the stars being revealed by Bondholder the Derby Telegraph early on Saturday morning.
