Magical Moonfall Family Show at Déda

Hikapee Theatre present a heartwarming story about a princess like no other as she tries to reach the moon.

A magical, whimsical and charmingly entertaining circus theatre show suitable for families and children aged 4+ - Moonfall will delight audiences of all ages.

The light-hearted and playful show follows the story of a not-so-typical princess who, after an argument with her brother, decides to run away – to the moon!

Spectacular aerial and acrobatic skills create a stunning back-drop and the incredible energy and chemistry of the two actors tells this wonderful Christmas story without words.

Hikapee Theatre specialise in creating family-friendly, accessible performances by combining physical theatre and aerial circus.

Moonfall presented by Hikapee Theatre will be at Déda, 19 Chapel Street, Derby DE1 3GU at 11am and 3pm on 20 Wednesday- 23 Saturday December 2017. Tickets are £9. Moonfall is 45 minutes long and recommended for ages 4+.

Special performances and activities:

20 Wednesday December 2.30pm Déda’s Youth Dance and Circus Company will introduce the show with two performances of their piece Reach, before the 3pm showing of Moonfall.

21 Thursday December 3pm showing will be a relaxed performance. For more information visit Déda’s website.

22 Friday December 12.30pm-1.15pm will include a family aerial workshop with the company for children aged 4-7. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Workshop places are free when purchasing tickets to Friday’s productions of Moonfall. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
