Online Enrolment at Derby College Group

Online Enrolment at Derby College Group

New students planning to join Derby College Group (DCG) in September will be able to enrol online from Thursday August 12 this year – GCSE results day.

Remote enrolment was introduced at the college for the first time last year and proved to be popular with school leavers and adult learners.

All applicants who have started their enrolment via the online application system will be processed remotely based on the actual exam results they have entered via the link on the DCG website.

A dedicated team will be processing this information and following up with the applicant if they have any queries. Applicants are asked to make sure they listen out for any calls (including withheld numbers) and to check their email, including junk folders, during the college’s enrolment period.

Any students who do not have access to the necessary equipment or who require more support their enrolment can attend any of the College sites at certain times from Tuesday August 31 and details are available on the website: https://www.derby-college.ac.uk/events

Anyone still wanting to make an application can do so via the website. There will be a dedicated team processing late applications over the next few weeks.

For help with any queries on the day, applicants should go to the pink Live Chat button at the right-hand corner of the website between 9am and 4.30pm, click on the box and fill in their name and question.

Live chat will be available every weekday until August 20 between those times and from 9am until 7pm on August 12.

DCG Vice Principal Kate Martin said: “Remote enrolment worked well when we first introduced it in 2020 so we are continuing with our online application system this year.

“Enrolment applications will predominantly be processed remotely in line with Government guidance but with face-to-face support available for those who have particularly concerns or find it difficult to access the online system.

“We aim to make the process as quick and easy as possible for school leavers and adult learners alike and we have dedicated teams in place to provide support where needed.”
