Pentrich & South Wingfield Revolution Group seek Derbyshire artists

Pentrich & South Wingfield Revolution Group are seeking a few more local artists for a project we are currently trying to complete (profession or amateur)

As part of the planned bicentenary celebration of the Pentrich Revolution, the group is organising an exhibition for which they are seeking artwork.  Paintings and images will need to be finished by May - June 2016 to allow for framing, which will be organised and paid for by the group.  Artworks will remain the property of the artist and the intention is that they will become a collector’s item as part of the bicentenary collection.

All the group requires is permission to display them around the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Australia (Prints in Australia) and to reproduce them freely as promotional items for the bicentenary year.

Promotional items may include postage stamps (we have allied for Royal consent for this), book covers, postcards, prints, bookmarks etc.  This represents an excellent opportunity for artists who are chosen to take part.
