Share a Crafty Coffee at Bakewell Town Hall
A new craft group opens its’ doors at Bakewell Town Hall on Tuesdays.
If you love making and would like to share your skills, ideas and enthusiasm for all things handmade, join us every Tuesday from 10.30am.
Centre Manager, Helen Swift, an experienced designer-maker says ‘This is a first for Bakewell. There’s nowhere for makers to get together and share what they do. There’s so much skill and passion out there- there’s a real reconnection with making things by hand and getting away from mass-manufactured products. People are more concerned than ever with being environmentally responsible and reusing what they have and this is the place where ideas and skills come together. Our idea is to get experienced crafters together with those just starting out so we can all share what we do, over coffee and cake. It’ll be lots of fun too!’
Crafty Coffee runs every Tuesday 10.30-12.30 in the court Room at Bakewell Town Hall. Call 01629 810152 / email firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
