Strength of a collaborative partnership

Bondholders from across public, private and third sectors within the East Midlands are collaborating to host an event for employers to learn, share and discuss new approaches to recruitment.

Bondholders D2N2 LEP, DCG, Derby City Council, East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Flint Bishop Solicitors and FSB along with About Demolition, DWP, Experience Works, Groundwork Greater Nottingham, Joined Up Careers, Motor Point, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue, Nottingham Jobs, South Derbyshire District Council and The Princes Trust are supporting the event which will take place at Bondholder DCG’s Roundhouse on Friday 19th July.

With job creation outstripping the number of available workers, employers are having to compete harder to attract the right talent to sustain and grow their business.  At this event employers will be able to hear from other businesses who are already adopting innovative approaches to recruit their talent, as well as providers who are funded to support.

The event will provide an opportunity to find out how to;

-          Meet Future Workforce Needs

-          Adopt Innovative Approaches to Recruitment

 Reap the Benefits of Diversity and Inclusion

Speakers include Elizabeth Fagan, Chair of D2N2 LEP and Non-Executive Chair of Boots and Michael Weedon, Policy Representative for the Federation of Small Businesses.

Interactive and informative workshops as well as a marketplace of exhibitors will also be available providing tools to enable employers to recruit more effectively.
