Test Your Brains and Get Festive with Derby Museums
Saturday 25 November: Grab a team and join us to pitch your brains against The Mayor of Derby at his Charity Quiz Night. For £12 you get quiz entry and fish and chips (or a vegetarian alternative). Saturday 2 December: Join us to dine, drink, taste and purchase chilli products and make sure you have time to enjoy the ''Clash of The Titans'' chilli eating competition at the Derby Christmas Chilli Fiesta at the Silk Mill.
Saturday 2 December: Having bought of all the chilli you can handle, take a walk over to our Very (Un)Grimm Christmas Fayre at Pickford's House. Packed with children's activities, a children's choir, Santa, festive food and drink this is set to be a great family event.
Saturday 2 December - Sunday 4 March: Exhibitions from Marion Adnams, an important exhibition bringing together the full and diverse range of her surrealist art for the first time in almost 50 years and Richard Long an influential British artist, offering an opportunity to explore Richard's radical re-thinking of art and landscape, set against the backdrop of Derby and the Peak District.
Friday 8 December: Forget the washing up and enjoy a full Christmas lunch at The Silk Mill. With food served by local celebrity chef, Ralph Skripek of Butler’s Pantry, you are guaranteed fantastic food, amazing atmosphere and a super time.
