Make the most of the winter nights with Stargazing at Alvaston Park. On Saturday 25 January join in the evening’s fun by exploring the night sky through one of the Derby & District Astronomy Society’s telescopes, take part in starry craft activities, storytelling and much more. Bring the family along to this free and fun event from 5 to 9pm!

Come and run the fun 5k race with the Stroke Association’s Derby Resolution Run at Markeaton Park on Sunday 23 February. The route takes runners around the perimeter of the park giving the opportunity to enjoy a great run on a Sunday morning, all while raising funds to rebuild more lives after stroke. It doesn’t matter if you sprint, run or walk your Resolution Run – do it your way! It’s just £16 to register prior to the event or £20 to register on the day.
