Mills along the Bonsall Brook
Doreen Buxton presents an illustrated talk to trace the burst of mill building activity at sites along the Bonsall Brook by George Evans, his neighbour Richard Arkwright and others in the 18th and 19th Centuries; which were used for a variety of activities from processing cotton, corn, calamine, colour and more.  Doreen will also discuss some recent re-thinking about earlier mill sites on the brook.
