Our community poem Ticket to Hope with poet Helen Mort is starting to take shape.  A big thank you to everyone who has contributed, we will update you on progress in the coming weeks.

Joanna Courtney is offering two workshops in November on writing historical fiction and plotting a novel via Zoom.  There are now only a couple of places left on 4th November workshop.

It’s not long until National Novel Writing Month (NANOWRIMO) starts on 1st  November https://nanowrimo.org/.  Whether you are a committed NANOWRIMO participant or are writing a novel in general Alex Davis is offering a workshop aimed at helping you take your novel forward on 2nd December via Google Meet

Derbyshire author Leonie Martin is offering a choice of two NOVEMBER dates on Zoom for her latest online Writing for Wellbeing workshop on the theme of HARMONY. Both workshops will include the same engaging writing activities and an opportunity to share your work within a safe and relaxing ‘virtual’ space. You’ll need access to Zoom along with writing materials. Early booking is advised as the number of places has been reduced to suit the online environment. Chesterfield Shared Reading facilitates FREE Reading for Wellbeing sessions every Monday afternoon 2-3pm online via Zoom, bringing people together through great poems or stories to talk, laugh and share from the comfort of home. No pressure to talk or read. Each session is facilitated by a trained volunteer Reader Leader from national charity www.thereader.org.uk You’ll need access to Zoom.
