BLACK* Artist Directory

The Women’s Community Forum has been funded by the Arts Council England to collate a BLACK, Asian, Ethnic Minority, Refugee artist’s directory – so we would love to hear from you.

We are really thrilled to be compiling this major document which will strengthen the community of BLACK* artists and make it easier for organisations to gain access to a vast number of artists. We feel certain that this directory will raise the profile of BLACK* artists in England and the rest of the UK.

Inclusion in the directory is free to individual artists. Organisations/companies are required to pay an annual fee of £20. This will support the long-term maintenance of the directory. (Please see terms and conditions attached)

Our website is currently being re-designed and will be on-line from mid-March 2017. We hope to display the directory by 31 March 2017.

To feature in our directory, please fill in the attached form and return to BLACKartiststwcf@yahoo.com. Please insert BAD then your art form in the subject line. Photos must be attached separately.

We are requesting artists to write about themselves using the first person ‘I’ or for organisations ‘we’.
