CQ Saturdays Knickerbocker Glorious – December 16

CQ Saturdays Knickerbocker Glorious free festive street entertainment programme returns to the Waterfall Stage in the Market Place this Saturday (December 16) between 11am and 3pm.

CQ Saturdays Knickerbocker Glorious takes place every Saturday in the run up to Christmas, organised by the Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District (BID) in conjunction with FFTS Events.  The event will run alongside a range of other festive street entertainment taking place in the area and provided by the BID.

The line-up will include the Grand Central Chorus which is one of the UK’s most successful men’s Barbershop choruses, having won the UK national title five times and represented the UK on several occasions at the Barbershop Harmony Society International Convention in both the USA and Canada.

Darren Pozyer has been acclaimed as one of the most versatile solo acoustic creative artistes in the UK. He has been actively involved in playing, recording and promoting original music for over 30 years since his debut in 1986 and professionally since 1988.

Alan Mansbridge is a semi-professional musician who plays a variety of styles of music such as jazz, classical and pop.

And Ripley Green Garters are a women’s North-West Morris side celebrating 35 years together.
