Derby College Students’ Union Promotes Health and Wellbeing

A wide range of organisations from across the county exhibited at a series of events for students at Derby College campuses to promote health and wellbeing.

The events were organised by the Derby College Students’ Union at the Roundhouse, Broomfield Hall and Ilkeston campuses.

The themes ranged from personal safety and mental health to healthy eating and fitness.

DCSU Events and Marketing Coordinator Cameron Millican explained: “The events were an opportunity for our students to find out more about the support and facilities available to them both within the College and further afield in the wider community.

“There was a wide range of information available on a number of issues and the events were also designed to be fun and engaging with lots of activities, freebies and unusual superfoods for everyone to try.

“It was a huge success and we are very grateful for the businesses and organisations who took the time to discuss a wide range of very important issues with students across the campuses.”
