Ilkeston Film Festival

We're looking for film submissions to be considered for our upcoming film festival to be held in January 2016 (further details to be confirmed).

Films need to have been made after January 2015, and must not have been submitted to the previous Ilkeston Film Festival, and they need to have been submitted to us by the 14th December 2015.

You don’t need any professional equipment; you can shoot your film on anything from a phone to an Arri Alexa! You can edit your film on any software you like and on any platform (phone, tablet, computer) you like.

Anyone can get involved, and your teams can be as big or small as you like – do it by yourself, with a group of friends, with your family. If they’re willing to get involved, get them involved!

Rules

We hate rules, but in order to give everyone a fair chance we have to stick to a few:

• Films must be a 12A certificate (Guidelines can be found here)

• Films can’t be more than 10 minutes in length. They can be as short as you like.

• Your film must be submitted by the deadline.

• Any copyrighted music will need permission from the copyright holder for a broadcast release.

Submission

Films will need to be submitted no later than Friday 18th December 2015.

Films must have a title, and the name of the creator in the file name.

Films need to be a movie file NOT a playable DVD (a data DVD is fine).

They can be submitted to:

Kate Le Prevost,

The King George Gallery,

The Ormiston Ilkeston Enterprise Academy,

King George Avenue,

Ilkeston,

DE7 5HS

Or as a digital transfer to either:

If you are submitting via disc, please remember to include a contact email address!
