The Little Love Cabaret

A cabaret night to remember as Spiltmilk Dance takes audiences through a love-struck scrapbook of true-life tales. With Fairy-tale romances, full-on obsessions, awkward break-ups and magnificent everyday acts of affection combined in a heart-warming, heart-breaking, and at times completely absurd cabaret devoted to shoving a little more love into your life. Somewhere between a sketch show, a Rom Com, and a glitter bomb, join Spiltmilk Dance and two special guest artists for an all singing, all dancing love revolution!

TEAM KGF WIN DOUBLE GOLD AT WORLD CUP

British champions, Derby Arena based Team KGF achieved a superb team pursuit gold at the Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Minsk on Sunday 21 January. The accomplished track cycling team have been supported by the coaches at The British team, consisting of Dan Bigham, Charlie Tanfield, Harry Tanfield and Jonathan Wale beat Russian team Lokosphinx at the World Cup by over two seconds, in a time of 3:56.015.

Gecko THE WEDDING

Derby Theatre is absolutely thrilled to welcome back award-winning and internationally-acclaimed physical theatre company, Gecko, led by Amit Lahav, with their latest, highly acclaimed touring production of The Wedding, on at the Theatre for three dates only from Thursday 8 until Saturday 10 February.
Gecko have wowed audiences at Derby Theatre before with two outstanding previous productions, Institute and Missing – and their latest touring production promises audiences the wow factor once again with The Wedding.

Toyota Manufacturing UK Charitable Trust donate £1000 to Derby Theatre for Plus One children in care scheme.

Over the recent festive period, Derby Theatre were thrilled to welcome over 100 staff and their family members from the locally-based Toyota Manufacturing UK to see performances of Peter Pan and The Gingerbread Man at the venue, and even more thrilled when the world renowned car manufacturing company presented them with a cheque for £1000 to go towards Plus One, a citywide ticket donation scheme which provides children in care and care leavers with free arts experiences in the city.

App Launch Aims to Improve Washroom Standards

A family-owned Derby company has launched an innovative new app which aims to raise washroom standards in businesses and public places across the UK.

HSG UK in Pride Park has developed Cleen App – the UK’s first fully integrated washroom review app.

The Cleen App is free to download and enables customers and visitors to rate the washrooms in any type of venue from restaurants and shopping centres to sports stadia and airports.
