The Anvil Gallery is delighted to present a solo exhibition by this much loved, established British Artist.  Taking his inspiration directly from the natural landscape, Colin Halliday paints en plein air, passionately capturing the physicality and essence of the landscapes he depicts.

Brought up in rural Cumbria, Colin started painting in 1985 and after establishing a successful career in London, he chose Derbyshire in 2005, as the ideal environment in which to fully immerse himself in his life-long desire to paint the Landscape.  His fondness for the Derbyshire landscape is ever present in this beautiful collection of paintings, with many familiar locations to recognise and discover.
