Language and the Imagination with Aoife Mannix. A 6-week poetry exploration using imagery and imagination, this course will help you develop your poetic voice.

Each week you will focus on a different aspect of using language and the imagination in poetic writing. You will read a poem closely for inspiration, undertake practical and fun writing exercises, share your work and receive constructive feedback on what you have written.

Aoife Mannix is an award winning and widely published poet.  She has published four collections of poetry, a novel and four libretti.  She has been poet in residence for the Royal Shakespeare Company and for BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live amongst others.

6 week course – Tuesday evenings, 18th October until 25th November 2021, £120 (£100 concessions)
