Magical Tea Date At The Old Bell Hotel

Magical princesses from some of the best-loved fairy tales will serenade guests at a special Easter afternoon tea at The Old Bell Hotel in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter on Saturday April 11.

‘A Tale As Old as Time’ will feature some of the stories’ famous characters from Cinderella to Belle for the two-hour tea party at the Sadler Gate venue’s Grand Regency Ballroom – complete with a fairy tale-inspired afternoon tea and Easter egg hunt.

The Old Bell Hotel owner Paul Hurst said: “This is the eighth time we will be running this show and we are delighted to be welcoming back such a talented cast.

“This is one of our most popular events with young families in our packed calendar of music, dance, theatre and comedy.

“It’s a great opportunity for children to dress up as their favourite character and join in with some of the best known songs from across the decades.

“It is wonderful to see the look of absolute joy when our young guests meet the princesses and join them in an Easter egg hunt around the ballroom.”
