Monarch Security Move Pays Dividends For Business Growth
A Derby security company’s move to serviced offices in Pride Park has already paid dividends with several new client gains.
Monarch Security, whose clients range from Covid testing centres to members of the Saudi royal family, marked its sixth month anniversary with a recent move to Oberoi Business Hub in St Christopher’s Way.
The premium business location and proactive marketing campaign has quickly resulted in additional business including security services for a new designer fashion outlet store which will soon be opening in the city.
Entrepreneurs Lenny Reynolds and Matthew Brown are currently refurbishing 3,000 sq ft premises next to Mr Reynolds existing business Right Blinds on Ascot Drive and plan to open Brand Outlet as soon as lockdown restrictions allow.
In the meantime, part of the £50,000 refurbishment will create a takeaway sandwich shop called Lunch Box at the front of the premises which will start trading ahead of the full Brand Outlet opening.
Monarch Security directors Farhaan Bhatti and Phil Wright, who have more than 25 years’ combined experience in the industry, have been advising Mr Reynolds on security and Covid-safe measures required ahead of the opening and will provide 24/7 support once the store is operational.
Mr Reynolds explained: “I love Derby but always felt that the city was missing a good quality designer brand outlet store.
“When the premises next door to my current business became available recently, I felt the time was right to start the refurbishment so that we could be ready to open post-lockdown.
“Although we have all grown used to online shopping, I know from the feedback of our Facebook followers that there is a real appetite for returning to physical shopping – particularly for designer fashions at up to 80% off retail prices.
“We have been working hard over lockdown to refurbish the premises and create a high quality shopping experience where customers can browse and also enjoy a cup of coffee and light snack.”
He continued: “With such high volumes of stock, I wanted to ensure we had the right security in place both in terms of systems and trained personnel.
“As well as protecting the business premises, we were keen to use a company which also had the experience and expertise in Covid-safe practices.
