Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust are delighted to announce that Pump Room Live will return with a weekend of free daytime music performed on the Pump Room roof on the 21 and 22 September. James Berresford, Chair of the Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust commented that “thanks to support from the Arts Council we can present this popular event again and offer a platform for a wide variety of artists, musicians and young talent to perform.”

The Pump Room Live weekend programme if again being developed by local brothers Greg and Elliot Smith who are booking bands and artists from across the region. The event will also feature a silent disco and premier of a ‘soundwork’ by internationally renowned artist Amy Sharrocks, the lead artist for the Arts Council England project. The ‘soundwork’ is inspired by sounds of water in and around Buxton and will also feature interviews with residents and artists.
