Spring In the Air At Broomfield Hall

Visitors to Derby College’s Broomfield Hall campus in Morley on Sunday May 29 will be in for a horticultural and animal treat with a wide range of advice and activities available for all the family.

The Animal Care unit will be open between 10am and 3.30pm with the chance to see, handle and learn more about the animals, reptiles and exotic species who reside there. Entrance to the Animal Unit is £3 for adults and £1 for children. Meanwhile Horticulture students and lecturers will share their knowledge of how to grow a wide range of Spring plants in the campus’s second Plant Fest between 10am and 4pm.

A wide range of plants, grown by Horticulture students at the College, will be available for sale at the Plant Centre and guided walks will be held around the walled gardens and the grounds at Broomfield.
