MEMBER: Deiniol Williams Ceramics
Primarily earthenware tiles and geometric designs, but sometimes wood-fired stoneware.
After graduating from the 3D Design course at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005 I moved back to Wales to established a workshop on the family farm near Aberystwyth. I made wood-fired stoneware pots and made my own ash based glazes. In 2009 I relocated my practice to Glossop, a small town on the edge of the Peak District. Here, I set up a new workshop and started making earthenware tiles based on medieval designs. I still make pots and once a year I take a selection of pots down to Wales to fire in the wood-firing kiln.
