Emily Smalley is an illustrative textile artist, creating simple, yet detailed designs inspired by wildlife. I love discovering old stories and inspiring quotes, along with the original illustrations that have been lovingly drawn beside them. Although I used to read many tales as a child, it has been enlightening to re-discover those simple messages and morals that we were all taught, and feel unique and special in finding that hidden treasure. In a world that’s now fast-paced and technology-based, I feel that we sometimes need to remember to slow down and appreciate the world we once lived in.
