Melbourne Operatic Society, initially formed in 1926 and reformed after the war years in 1953, has continuously performed an annual Gilbert and Sullivan operetta originally in the Public Hall in Melbourne and currently at the Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton.
We are a local group of around forty singers and performers who perform summer and Christmas concerts in Melbourne, Castle Donington, Diseworth and Long Eaton as well as the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta.
