High-spec city centre offices unveiled

High-spec city centre offices unveiled

A new office scheme in the heart of Derby's Cathedral Quarter has been launched by Bondholder David Brown Commercial on behalf of fellow Bondholder Morgan Industrial Properties.

The four-storey 7,080 sq ft building at 120 Friar Gate is a response to a lack of supply of high-spec offices in the city centre and could be the perfect office base for occupiers from mid-2020.

John Forkin, Managing Director at Marketing Derby, cut the ribbon at 120 Friar Gate to unveil the space and said "The central Derby office market has been constrained in recent years. Recent studies have shown that over 60% of office workers would most like to spend the majority of their working time in a city centre. Local amenities, good public transport links, business clusters and a “buzz factor” are all drivers behind the preference for city centre working and Friar Gate is perfect for this."

"120 Friar Gate is something of a game changer in this respect and is a serious opportunity for an established business to have their own city centre headquarters", said David Brown, Director at David Brown Commercial.
