The Secret Postcard Show 2023!
Dara - Tree of Life ended on Saturday and I have to share that it was a such a beauty of a show - full of diversity, shared experiences and colour! With so many visitors to the gallery and plenty of red dots too! A true delight to exhibit work by so many artists.
I’m going to continue to work in this way in the future: the majority of the exhibitions here at the gallery will now be via an artist call out over on Instagram: you can find out more over on our website as the latest call out is now LIVE!
As you can see by the photo above - our annual Secret Postcard Show is fast approaching - I had a phenomenal response to the call out this year with a massive 872 postcards received - created by 298 generous artists - an all round record breaking year.
All art works are original and made specifically for the show. The opening night is Friday 18th August 7-9pm and everyone is welcome, postcards are all for sale and cost £20 each. I’m hoping to have approx 500 postcards on show for the opening night this year - so a real treat is in store.
Then from 9pm I’ll be over on instagram sharing available work there for those of you who aren’t able to join us in person - again all work will be available to purchase online and live!
The Secret Postcard Show is such an exciting exhibition - with so many amazing pieces of original art work - diversity at it’s absolute best.
The aim of the show is to enable as many art lovers as possible an opportunity to purchase work regardless of their status/background AND to raise ample funds to pay the rent of our beautiful space for as many months as possible.
I can share that this year is a bountiful year brimming with art that’s full of beauty & talent: Hope to see you there!
