Sell out for Derby Folk Festival as live concerts make long awaited return

Derby Folk Festival bounced back as a weekend of live events in style on Friday 1st October.

When COVID-19 disrupted live shows, last year’s event moved online and became the well-received Derby Folk Festival at Home. But this year saw the long-awaited return to live concerts and did not disappoint, with visitors travelling from across the UK and Ireland.

World Mental Health Day

The World Health Organisation recognises World Mental Health Day on the 10th of October every year.

This year's theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is 'mental health for all'. Throughout this day and week there are opportunities for people to talk about all aspects of mental health, with focus on providing help, advice and engaging with others.
