The Digital Growth Programme from Bondholder D2N2 has enabled 1,300 businesses across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to embrace digital technology.
The programme gives local SMEs access to fully-funded workshops, financial support and free one-to-one advice to help them introduce new digital technology to their organisations.
Tickets are now on sale for two special performances at this year’s Derby Festé on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September 2019.
Dutch company, Close-Act Theatre, will make a welcome return to Festé on both evenings.

Derby Museums’ ancient Egyptian mummies will make an intrepid visit to Manchester at the end of May for a state-of-the-art radiographic investigation, conducted by researchers at the University of Manchester.
An informative, open-to-all Dementia Friends training session took place recently at the Fire Station Community Room, organised by Buxton Festival Fringe. Keen to make its summer arts event more inclusive, the Fringe arranged for dementia awareness campaigner Keith Horncastle to offer practical ideas and training at the session which was attended by representatives from The Green Man Gallery, Buxton Art Trail and Buxton Film as well members of the Fringe committee. The Fringe hopes to repeat the training later in the year.

This month, our life model is Rachel and, as usual, the untutored session starts at 10am and will finish at around 12.30pm, including a 30 minute break part-way through.
Refreshments are available and included within the price but you are welcome to bring your own along if you wish. The session costs £12.50 and you will need to bring your own drawing materials and equipment along for use during the session.
Ashford Art Group will hold the Annual Show throughout Welldressing Week, from Saturday, 15th June, to Sunday, 23rd June. This year, for the first time, the Show will be in the Ashford War Memorial Institute. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
A wide selection of artwork is displayed for sale at affordable prices. Artist members are present to greet visitors and to talk about the work shown. We hope you will enjoy your visit.
