Great news – the Mercedes Actros rigid 26tonner has arrived! She's currently getting the full GT Couriers treatment courtesy of our signwriting guys at Blueprint Nottingham, but once we get her back to GT HQ we will get some photos out on our Facebook page for all the truckies out there.

The Derby Conference Centre is a stunning Grade II-listed building based in central Derby. After a huge growth in business and a desire to stand-out as a centre, they have recently rebranded. As part of the rebrand, a new exciting partnership has been signed with OYO Hotels and Homes UK Ltd which means their hotel bedrooms will be transformed.

Bondholder Staton Young will be bringing a new office concept to Derby city centre following planning approval by Derby City Council.

Staton Young will be transforming the Grade-II listed Old Post Office on Victoria Street into CUBO - 20,000 sq. ft of luxury, modern office space, with vast amounts of co-working space, hot desking, designated desks and private offices.

Students at Derby College Group’s Joseph Wright post 16 Academic and Arts college in the Cathedral Quarter have created an urban garden for staff and students to enjoy.

The balcony space has been transformed with synthetic grass, patio planters and benches using recycled pallets donated by local company DW Hicks.

Now in its eleventh year, the Awards recognise and celebrate the city's vibrant and growing food and drink sector.

Managing Director of Marketing Derby, John Forkin says: "Food and drink is an important sector but a tough one too. We want to celebrate the best locally and promote customer growth, so I encourage everyone to vote to give support to their favourites."

We are seeking initial expressions of interest from artists who would value a period of time in the Orangery to create and/or exhibit work. The artists would also be able to offer a Friday workshop. Over the next few years Arts and Wellbeing organisation All Being Well will be hosting the artist's residency programme on the park. All Being Well are in the process of writing a funding bid which will be adapted in accordance with successful applications.

What we are looking for

Bondholder Derby Museums are seeking support from the local business community for the Derby Ram Trail; an amazing public art event threaded across the city next summer in support of the Museums Trust.

Launched today, The Derby Ram Trail will consist of around 30, five-foot high fibreglass sculptures in the shape of Derby’s mythical Ram.

Marketing Derby's latest film has been launched to showcase the purpose of the organisation, the breadth and depth of its activities to date and the impact the company has had creating 1,354 jobs and contributing £333.09m in GVA in the last three years.

Produced by Bondholder Purpose Media, the film will be used by the investment promotion agency for Derby and Derbyshire with investors, Bondholders and key stakeholders.
