New Date for Brian Cox at Derby Arena
Ahead of beginning his new tour UNIVERSAL – World Tour 2019 at Derby Arena on Thursday 7 February 2019(sold out), Derby LIVE is pleased to announce he will be returning to Derby Arena on Tuesday 10 September, 8pm.
Run Away with the Circus this December
Holly Noble Company offers an exciting re-telling of Snow White this December using circus, ballet, and film alongside an eclectic soundtrack. The performance will take place at Déda, on Chapel Street in Derby, from Wednesday 19 December to Saturday 22 December.
Mischievous and magical, ‘SNOW’ retells the story of Snow White using dance and circus, narration and film, all within a Victorian Travelling Circus.
World Beating Cycling Team Fly the Flag For Derby
Derby-based track cycling HUUB Wattbike test team will be travelling to the latest stage of the UCI World Cup Series on Friday December 14 sporting a newly-designed Derbados flag.
The team, who train at the Derby Arena, are currently the fifth fastest track cycling teams in the world.
They are aiming for Gold in the meet at London’s Olympic velodrome having already beaten some of the world’s top teams – including Team GB - at recent world cup series competitions in Germany and Canada.
